About

I’m a design leader focused on helping teams do great work together.

I zeroed in on leadership early in my design career when I realized I was interested in creating the conditions where good design happens—bringing together motivated teams, growing thoughtful leaders, and making sure design had a seat at the table.

I’ve led UX organizations in enterprise learning, financial services, and education technology. No matter the industry, I find myself returning to the same principle: Great design happens when people have clarity, context, and trust.

My approach to leadership has grown from both design and teaching. The work I find most rewarding isn’t any specific project; it’s watching people I’ve mentored come into their own and become leaders capable of driving progress and change in their own environments.

Outside of work

I’ve taught user experience and visual design at places like General Assembly and Fashion Institute of Technology. Teaching keeps me connected to the craft and lets me practice what I value most about leadership: making complex ideas accessible, asking questions that help people think differently, and helping people trust their own judgment.

I also design print books. Books combine structure and story in a tangible way, and I love making work with that kind of permanence. You can see some of that work here and here.
