About
I’m a strategic design leader focused on helping teams do great work together.
I gravitated toward leadership early in my design career because I wanted to create the conditions where good design happens: building strong teams, developing future leaders, and making sure design has a seat at the table early.
I’ve led UX organizations across enterprise learning, financial services, and education technology. Regardless of industry, the same principle holds: Design works best when people have clarity, shared context, and trust, especially in complex environments.
My approach to leadership has been shaped by both design practice and teaching. While I care deeply about the work itself, the most meaningful outcomes for me are seeing people I’ve mentored grow into leaders who can drive progress and change.
Outside of work
I’ve taught user experience and visual design at places like General Assembly and Fashion Institute of Technology. Teaching keeps me connected to the craft and reinforces what I value most about leadership: making complex ideas accessible, asking questions that help people think differently, and helping people build confidence in their judgment.
I also design print books. Books combine structure and story in a tangible way, and I love making work with that kind of permanence. You can see some of that work here and here.
